CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
AnaMarie Bruni recently signed a professional fast-pitch contract with the Texas Smoke WPF women's program for the Summer '23 season. AnaMarie will join the Texas WPF team and compete against several olympic softball athletes as she begins her pro career.
AnaMarie is an accomplished collegiate softball athlete best known for her speed, slapping technique and exceptional fielding abilities. During her senior season, AnaMarie set the single season record for stolen bases (38), appeared twice in the SportsCenter Top 10 for her incredible catches in the center field position, and was selected as a Top 10 Finalist for the 2021 NCAA Senior Class Award. AnaMarie finished her career ranked #2 in USF program history in stolen bases (99) and #7 in batting average (.351).
Aside from her professional softball career, AnaMarie is also a softball skills coach providing both in-person and virtual instruction for hitting, outfield, base running, and mentality. Her current partnership with Camwood Bats includes a program that breaks down her full slapping technique which helped her become one of the most accomplished hitters in USF softball program history.
“My goal is to grow the game of softball and inspire young athletes to pursue their dreams when playing this sport. It has been such an influential piece of my life and I want other female athletes to have the same opportunities and experiences I have had.”
